Information for GPs

Counselling at SCARD is based at our Mirfield offices on King Street, in the centre of Mirfield. Our counselling rooms have been specially designed to provide a comfortable, quiet and non-threatening environment to get the best out of the counselling sessions.

All of our counsellors have completed at least 2 years of a BACP-approved counselling certificate course, and are undergoing continuing career development through education and counselling experience. In addition, all of our counsellors have an accepted enhanced CRB disclosure.

Counselling at SCARD is completely free of charge, and we are happy to receive referrals from GPs or other healthcare professionals. If you would like to make a referral, please download our referral form by following this link. Print it off, complete it and return to the following address :-
