OCEAN'S XIII - Coast to Coast Cycle Ride

I lost my wonderful nephew Nick Gibbon on February 10 2009 in a road collision due to black ice, Nick's friend Stephen was very badly injured and is still having treatment to this day. I decided to set up a memorial fund in Nick's memory after seeing the devistation and heartbreak his loss caused to his parents, family and friends. Nick was an only child and so his loss was even more heartbreaking - As as a family we had never heard of the charity and only found out about it about a year after Nick's death but believe that if we had been aware at the time Nick's family would have gained much needed support from the organisation.
So far we have 7 cyclist's David, Colin, Steve (Nick's Dad) Chris, Martin, John, Duncan (Nick's Cousin).
Gayna, Nola (Nick's Mum), Russell & Wendy (NIck's Aunt/Uncle), Jean - will be with them to offer their support along the way in the back up vehicles.
Our aim is to make more people aware of S.C.A.R.D. and to raise as much funding as we can to help what we believe is a very worthwhile cause in Nick's memory.
All sponsors/donations will be added to Nick's Memorial Fund.
