After the guys fantastic achievement on the Coast to Coast last year I decided that I would like to take part in a challenge myself in memory of Nick – So here is what I have decided to do ……………. I have signed up to run the Chester Half- Marathon (13Miles) on the 13th May 2012, this is my first ever!! My friend/colleague Tina Britten has offered to run the course with me so at least we can support each other.

The date and the venue say it all as to why this Marathon is a must do……. 13 miles on the 13th May and in Chester as this is where Nick went to University.

The 31st Chester Half Marathon will take place over a fast new course which starts at Chester Racecourse and finishes in the City Centre outside the Town Hall and Cathedral – Wish us luck! Any sponsorship will be gratefully received.

Our aim is to make more people aware of S.C.A.R.D. and to raise as much funding as we can to help what we believe is a very worthwhile cause in Nick's memory.
