Become a Member of SCARD

If you agree with the aims of SCARD and like what we do, then why not consider becoming a member. We receive no funding from central or local government, and rely completely on the generosity of the public in their donations to enable us to continue doing our vital work.

As a member of SCARD you will receive the following benefits :-

  • Free membership of our sister organisation CADD (Campaign Against Drinking & Driving)
  • Quarterly newsletter keeping you informed on the latest news about SCARD and CADD, as well as updates on national road safety issues.
  • Free SCARD or CADD lapel badge (worth £1.50) for donations of £10 or more

There are over 3000 people killed on the roads of the UK every single year, and over 30,000 seriously injured - we would greatly value your support in helping them and their grieving relatives.

Please note - if you are a counsellor and are interested in having an entry in our counsellor directory, please click here for our application form - unfortunately we are not able to take counsellor membership on-line.

There are two ways to join us - you may either download our membership form and send it off to us, or you may also join online.

The easiest way to join is online - you can join us right now! We do not charge a membership fee, but as part of the joining process you are invited to donate to SCARD and CADD via PayPal. Please note that to cover the cost of administration and postage, we would ask that you make a donation of at least £10. If you've ever used eBay you will already have a PayPal account, but If you don't have one, don't worry - setting up an account is easy and you will be taken through the procedure as part of joining SCARD and CADD.
