Personal Injury Solicitors Directory

It is vitally important that you always employ a solicitor that is appropriate to your needs. Always make sure that any firm you approach is accomplished in dealing with Personal Injury claims - this may also be referred to as a "PI Solicitor". Do not be afraid to ask for references and examples of work they have successfully presented.

SCARD and CADD cannot endorse a particular company , but the following are all firms who fully support the aims of SCARD and CADD.

If you do contact a solicitor who is one of our supporters, please tell them that you got their details from the SCARD web site.

If you are a firm of personal injury solicitors who would like to become members of SCARD, with all of the benefits that gives, including your company details on this page, then please click here.

Explanation of No Win No Fee arrangements:

  • No Win No Fee ( which are more accurately called Conditional Fee Arrangements or CFA’s) ensure that if you do not win your accident claim you do not have to pay your solicitor a fee. An Insurance Policy taken out by your solicitor will cover you against the other side's costs and expenses. If you win your no win no fee claim, you should receive your compensation free of any deductions, as your solicitor's costs should be paid by the other side. There are very few exceptions to this.
  • No win no fee compensation claims were introduced to the UK in 1995, and replaced legal aid, a government enabled system for providing funding to help people get a fair hearing, access the court process, and to help solve problems that contribute to social exclusion.
