Light a New Candle

Please note - in order to avoid disappointment, we must point out that we will only light new candles for the victims of road collisions.

If you have lost a loved-one on the roads, this is the place to leave a lasting memorial to them. Each new memorial has an entry on the Remembrance page, which lists the person's name, dates of birth and death, and the people who are remembering them. If you would like to add any stories, comments or your own tribute to your loved one, then you may do this, and these will be accessible when you click on the name.

If you would like us to include a photograph of your loved-one on the details page, then you may e-mail us one - you will be prompted to send us a photo after you have entered all the details. Please note that because of space limitations, we may have to reduce the photo in size.

Please fill in the form below and then click the Submit button to add your loved-one's details to our Remembrance page. The fields outlined in red must be supplied. Note that this is a manual process - please allow 3working days for the memorial to appear - when the memorial is in place, we will send you an e-mail informing you of your entry, so that you may inspect it.

Leaving a memorial is free, but please consider making a donation to SCARD, however small, as we are funded entirely by donation by people like you, and we would welcome any support which you would like to give us. If you would like to make a donation to SCARD, please click on the 'Donate' link at the left of the page after entering your loved-one's details - thank you.

You may also wish to think about setting up a SCARD Memorial Fund for your loved one. If you would like to know more about our new memorial funds, please click here.
