Adam was travelling to his Dad's on that dreadful day and had a head on collision with a van. It was an accident. He had only passed his test four weeks previously. His car was his pride and joy and, like everything in his life, he looked after it with respect. He was a young man on the threshold of adult life who was kind, hard working and generous. Adam's goodness touched the lives of everyone he met. He was decent. He gave us 17 wonderful years and we are proud to have been his parents. Adam would do anything for anyone and the pain of his loss is almost too much to bear. He was a very special young man, from his never-ending energy to his unconditional love. He was handsome and strong and his smile would light a dark day. He leaves two younger brothers, Nick 15 and Tom 12, who are struggling to come to terms with his death. We have to tell ourselves he was taken for a reason. Our big, beautiful Adam, how empty our lives are without him. The day he was taken the light went out of our lives. We love him and will miss him forever.
